About the platform behind this service
This service runs on software provided by Jversity, which operates the platform on behalf of the organisation named above.
The organisation decides what is taught, what is charged and what happens to student information. Jversity acts on that organisation’s instructions and does not use student information for its own purposes.
Where information is processed
Platform data is held in managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. The providers used to run the service are:
Fly.io — application hosting and the primary database.
Cloudflare R2 and Tigris — file and media storage.
Vercel — delivery of the web front end.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Agora and Amazon Web Services — live class delivery and recording.
Payments are handled by the payment provider the organisation has connected to its own account. Jversity does not receive or store card details.
Security and access
Access to organisation data is restricted to the organisation’s own users, and is isolated per organisation at both the application and database level.
Jversity staff do not access an organisation’s student records except where the organisation grants support access for a defined period, which is logged.
Where Jversity becomes aware of a breach affecting an organisation’s data, it notifies that organisation without undue delay so the organisation can meet its own obligations.
